CHILDREN ALL OVER THE U.S. ARE MISSING FROM A PARENT, LETS GET OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!!!
My husband took off with our kids on (11/08/01).
There was no warning, he acted fine that morning, telling me he would see me when I got home.
When I did get home, he and the children were gone.
I went to the court house the next day, filed for divorce, custody, and a restraining order.
I was granted temporary custody.
It took three weeks to get them back.
My children were found in a town 12 hours from home.
But there are a lot of children who are still missing right now.
We need to do something about this. I have written an email to the Whitehouse asking for a web page, profiling missing children, to be designed. And for it to be mandatory for the schools to check the site before enrolling a child in the school.
I have not heard back except for the automated response. Lets prove to the President that we mean business. Write the President, Congress people, state school boards, and other elected officials, demanding they help.
These children are missing their parent(s), and these parent(s) are missing their children. Lets help them to reunite.
